Wearable shipments to rise over 25% next year says Gartner, led by smartwatch deliveries

According to Gartner, shipments of wearables are expected to rise to 453.19 million units by 2022, from 178.91 million estimated to be delivered this year. While smartwatches will lead the way this year, ear-worn devices are expected to top the wearables market by 2022.
