Honor Note 10 smartphone to launch today


NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch its flagship smartphone -- Honor Note 10 in China today. The company has scheduled an event in Beijing at 1:30pm local time (11am IST), where it will unveil the device. It is expected that the smartphone will come with AI-based features and will launch in the global markets at the pre-IFA event on August 30.

The company recently released a teaser revealing that the Honor Note 10 will be backed by a 5000mAh battery. Along with this, the company also said that the device will feature the Cool technology which is expected to prevent the battery from heating up and manage the battery backup as well. The smartphone is said to sport a dual rear camera setup placed vertically on the rear panel.

As per the earlier reports, the Honor Note 10 is said to come with a 6.9-inch QHD+ display. The screen is expected to come with an iPhone X-like notch. The device is said to run Android 8.1 Oreo operating system topped with the company’s own EMUI. Like the other high-end devices of the company the Honor Note 10 is also expected to be powered by its flagship HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor.

The smartphone is said to offer 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded further by inserting a microSD card. As revealed earlier the smartphone will be backed by a 5000mAh battery with Cool technology of the company. It is also expected that the company might also incorporate fast charging in the device. The dual rear camera is said to include a 24MP primary sensor and a 16MP secondary sensor with LED flash.

Recently, Honor launched its budget smartphone Honor 9N in India. The device comes with a starting price tag of Rs 11,999 and is exclusively available on Flipkart.
